The most common style of braiding the hair is the division of hair into three equal portions. Then towards the middle position, the right portion of the hair is crossed over tightly. After that in a similar way the left portion of hair is crossed over to the center. This process is prolonged till one has braided all the hair. The braid is tightened with the help of ribbon, hair clip or elastic band. The hair can be braided in any style and direction.
