Celebrity hairstyles are difficult to compare to other hairstyles. It is because they have to perform multiple functions. They should not only beautify an actor or an actress but they should also be appealing to a wider audience. The audience tries to relate themselves to the actors in a movie and try to imitate them; their hairstyle being no exception.

If a hair style suits an actor (or actress) too much the audience may not find it charming. For example, the Asian audience may not feel attached to a character with blonde hair but they look damn good on people with white skin color. The opposite is also true; make the hairstyle of an actor or an actress too vulgar and he/she would loose all his/her charm.

A good celebrity hairstyle should consider both factors; it should be such that the public can relate to it and it should also befit the actors in a film.
